A Christmas Recital -
Christmas Around the World
Carols from Many Cultures and Countries

Medieval depiction of the holy family

Description

Christians tried to understand and express the musteries of the bible in ways which were common to them as the scholarly theologians did in their ways. This is a collection of traditional seasonal music and Christmas carols. The songs are sung in the original language first, then with translated lyrics. Legends and pieces of the songs' histories are also included.

This is a two-hour presentation that can be adjusted to meet the scheduling needs of the community.
The full recital is also available on a multi-volume set of compact discs.
